Paolo Carzana

Earlier this year Paolo Carzana was awarded the British Fashion Council’s NEWGEN initiative award to show at London Fashion Week in September.

We supported Paolo with fabric when he was a student, so he felt this would be an amazing opportunity to bring Melin Tregwynt into high end fashion with his collection.

a busy weekend...

The fourth Trefin Classic Car event was held on Saturday 10th Sept and they stopped at Melin Tregwynt for a coffee break.

A wonderful mix of beautiful cars took part with their proud owners and great fun was had by all including those many people along the route who came out to cheer them on.

My final collection ‘Y Cymoedd’ has taken inspiration from my Welsh heritage and the desire to pay homage to that and will be displayed at Melin Tregwynt from 5th - 30th September 2022.

a busy weekend...

The second Trefin Classic Car event was held successfully in wonderful weather on Saturday. Due to Covid-19 restrictions this year it was held as a run.

Starting in Goodwick the route went along scenic country roads to Melin Tregwynt for a coffee break and then via Mathry, Croesgoch, to Llanrhian, ending at the Ship Inn at Trefin.

"Beasts of the Mabinogion Exhibition"

A collaboration with textile artist Helly Powell led to the creation of a beautiful new collection “The Beasts of the Mabinogion”. As Helly used cloth woven at Melin Tregwynt in the creation of these sculptures, the mill wass the natural starting point to exhibiting them in celebration of the national ‘Year Of Legends’.
