Fflam Coat

This unique, bespoke tailored coat is made with Melin Tregwynt’s ‘Fflam’ (flame) fabric, taken from the ‘Ysbryd’ collection of bold blanket weaves, inspired by the colours and spirit of the Welsh landscape.

The lining print pattern compliments the theme of the fabric, with lively brush stokes representing flame sparks. It has been designed and made by Teilwr Bach, using traditional tailoring techniques and screen printed by hand at The Printhaus.

This is the first in a series of five coats, each featuring an original and conceptual lining print.

Mae patrwm print y defnydd leinin yn cyd-fynd â thema’r defnydd, gyda marciau brwsh bywiog yn cynrychioli gwreichion fflam. Cafwyd ei gynllunio a’i wneud gyda thechnegau teilwra traddodiadol gan Teilwr Bach, a phrintiwyd y defnydd leinin â llaw yn The Printhaus.

Dyma’r cyntaf mewn cyfres o bump chot, gyda phob un yn fflawntio leinin â phrint gwreiddiol a chysyniadol.

An exhibition to showcase the coats and the lining print designs will take place at Melin Tregwynt from the 23rd of August until the 1st of October.

Please get in touch if you’d like to pre-order your bespoke ‘Fflam’ Coat, with the limited edition ‘spark print’ lining. The coat will be made to your personal measurements and two fittings will need to be arranged.
