Earlier this year Paolo Carzana was awarded the British Fashion Council’s NEWGEN initiative award to show at London Fashion Week in September.
We supported Paolo with fabric when he was a student, so he felt this would be an amazing opportunity to bring Melin Tregwynt into high end fashion with his collection.

The fourth Trefin Classic Car event was held on Saturday 10th Sept and they stopped at Melin Tregwynt for a coffee break.
A wonderful mix of beautiful cars took part with their proud owners and great fun was had by all including those many people along the route who came out to cheer them on.
Hello my name is Molly Gregory and I am recent women’s wear knit gradate from Kingston School of Art where I studied fashion design.
My final collection ‘Y Cymoedd’ has taken inspiration from my Welsh heritage and the desire to pay homage to that and will be displayed at Melin Tregwynt from 5th - 30th September 2022.
A bespoke, double breasted traditionally tailored coat featuring a themed hand printed lining; ‘Splash Explosion’ print. Made with the ‘Morlyn Glas’ (Blue Lagoon ) fabric, from Melin Tregwynt’s ‘Ysbryd’ collection; a collection inspired by the colours and spirit of the Welsh landscape.
An exhibition to showcase the coats and the lining print designs will take place at Melin Tregwynt from the 23rd of August until the 1st of October.

The second Trefin Classic Car event was held successfully in wonderful weather on Saturday. Due to Covid-19 restrictions this year it was held as a run.
Starting in Goodwick the route went along scenic country roads to Melin Tregwynt for a coffee break and then via Mathry, Croesgoch, to Llanrhian, ending at the Ship Inn at Trefin.
Back in 2008 this giant picnic blanket was specially commissioned from Melin Tregwynt and is still certified as a Guinness World Record* for the largest picnic blanket in the world.
