Celebrating everything Welsh, the 'Caerphilly Chair’, designed by Fraser Smith, is a contemporary impression of the classic Welsh stick chair, constructed from local timber from the Ruperra forest in Caerphilly, South Wales and upholstered in our Vintage Star Spice fabric.

Some years ago we exhibited with Muji in Japan and we were really excited to be asked to work with them again, supplying our doublecloth fabrics to their new concept store, Found Muji, which has been launched in Japan, Europe and China, but not yet in the UK.
Found Muji’s goal is “to find good stuff that lasts for a long time” and they sell products from around the world, all sourced from small companies like ours and each product has its own unique story.
It’s the perfect time of year for a walk in our bluebell woods or down on the beach with your four legged friends so we’ve opened up a dog friendly café in our marquee. No matter how wet or dry, good or naughty, they can sit inside and join you for lunch or afternoon tea!
To celebrate the opening we invited our staff to bring their dogs to work and you can see them here all dressed in their melin tregwynt dog accessories. They didn't stay still for long...
It was a very busy May Bank Holiday weekend with visits from the Bentley Driver’s Club on Saturday and on Sunday a fantastic afternoon of Gypsy Jazz and food courtesy of Swingology so check it out…

The work exhibited had been produced by students who were studying in year 2 of their Level 3 Extended Diploma in Fashion and Textiles at Pembrokeshire College.
The students visited the mill and spent a day drawing and photographing many aspects of the mill and surrounding area. They were then given a specific brief to follow.
Students from the Foundation on Art and Design, Cardiff Arts Academy, Trade Street have developed work that is inspired by their individual take on the theme of Welsh Culture, utilizing recycled materials, and emphasizing the importance of sustainability. Melin Tregwynt provided the fabric.
